Hi! I’m Khyati, founder of “Home of baby sleep”. I am here to help your little one (and you) get more sound sleep.
I am someone who loves, and needs, her 8-hour beauty sleep. When my daughter Myra was born, I don’t think I was fully prepared for the endless sleepless nights that were coming my way. My husband and I made lots of mistakes while trying to desperately get our daughter to sleep, which ended up making her sleep habits even worse. When Myra was 7 months old, we learned from friends and colleagues of a sleep coach, and to put it simply, it was life changing. Within a few days, Myra was sleeping through the night, instead of waking up every 2 hours. Not only were my husband and I finally able to get a full night’s rest, but Myra was a much happier more content baby throughout the day and we suddenly felt like a joyful and well-rested family.
When I went back to my full-time corporate job after maternity leave, I was surprised to hear how many working parents were still suffering from sleepless nights with their little ones. Sleep was the biggest topic of conversation and stress point for parents we met at Myra’s nursery, swim class, baby gym class or randomly at the park swings. That is when I decided to become a fully certified sleep coach and founder of “Home of Baby Sleep” to help families enjoy parenthood with a full night’s sleep.
MY SLEEP COACHING JOURNEY
Little ones (just like adults) go through several sleep cycles throughout the night. However, adults have had years of practice transitioning through each sleep cycle without fully waking up at night. Sleep coaching teaches your little one to self-soothe and fall back to sleep independently when they naturally wake up while transitioning from one sleep cycle to another. Once your little one gets a full night of undisturbed sleep without multiple night wakings, you will see the difference it makes to their mood, behaviour and energy levels throughout the day. And as parents, there is always the added bonus of getting your evenings and nights back knowing that your little one will wake up straight the next morning. At Home of Baby Sleep, my goal is to teach your little one healthy, independent sleep habits that will enable them to have a happy and enriched childhood.
the importance of sleep coaching
One of the hardest things about being a new parent is the overwhelming amount of information out there, and not knowing how best to apply it to your personal situation. Each child is different, and therefore the methods I use will be gentle, age appropriate, and catered for each family and to each individual situation. No matter where in the world you are based, I will work with you to provide a tailored, practical and non-judgemental sleep plan that you are happy and comfortable with. You know your little one best, and we will always keep your little one’s personality and temperament along with your parenting style in mind to find a solution that your little one will respond to.
a tailored approach
Parents, there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. We are in this together! I’m looking forward to working with you and helping your little one feel rejuvenated after a full night of restful sleep.
